We are going to assemble your blogging PRODUCT step by step to give you an overview of how to effectively create and refine an idea into a product. After this lesson you will be able to apply the techniques to any idea or product you may have.

Design

You will need a BLUEPRINT for your product, in our blogging example the blueprint is your topic and your idea around effectively conveying that topic to your audience. As you design your content strategy attempt to think of ways to create content that will make your visitors want to return for more. "Start Thinking Now"!

Supply

Products need a reliable and cost effective SUPPLY channel. Knowing the in's and out's of your supply chain will allow you to handle increased demand for your product or service. In our blogging example the supply is your content, later we will explore other ways of obtaining content other than yourself.

Assembly

Its time to put it all together, you have the blueprint and your supply chain is ready. Lets CREATE your blog using Blogger and create your first post.

After you have created your content, the simplest way to monetize your blog is by simply clicking the MONETIZE tab and creating a Google AdSense account. A more lucrative and flexible revenue channel is LinkShare. Regardless of the money making mechanism you choose you are now ready to send users to your blog and begin making money online.

You have a limited set of templates to choose from on Blogger. One easy way to achieve the look and feel you want for your Blog is to use a program like Artisteer. Test

Testing your product is important, customers will not continue to use a product that is low QUALITY or has problems. In our blogging example this very simply means reviewing your content for spelling and grammatical errors.

In review to successfully turn any IDEA into a product you need to follow the four steps outlined above. Design the product or solution, obtain the necessary supply to create the product, assemble or build the product and finally test the product.
